The Salentine Story

A Tradition of Pump Excellence

In 1980, Robert (Bob) Salentine started his small, family-owned Wisconsin business dedicated to serving the needs of the manufacturing industry with quality industrial pumps, motors and supplies. Drawing on his extensive pump pipeline experience in the U.S. Air Force and mentorship under the highly decorated WWII POW Jack Risler, Bob built the foundation of Salentine Pump & Equipment with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

From its modest beginnings in a small Milwaukee sales office with product lines like Viking Pump, Salentine Pump & Equipment thrived under Bob’s leadership and continually expanded its product lines and expert services such as pump skid assembly for decades.

Meet Mike Salentine

Today, Bob’s son, Mike Salentine, proudly carries forward his father’s mission after years of hands-on experience in the repair and pump skid assembly side of operations. Since his ownership in 2015, Mike has tripled operational capacity to a 10,000-square-foot dedicated facility and the company has grown its application engineering team, service department, and sales force, further solidifying its position as a highly trusted industry partner with nationwide distribution. Like Bob, Mike is dedicated to providing quality products along with personal and experienced services to meet the needs of all his customers.
